There are a few different ways in which quality art can transform our lives for the better.

Would you like to commission an abstract painting?

One of the very best ways to enjoy art is to commission a painting. There is the opportunity to have a one-on-one collaboration meeting with the artist. Painting commissions also enable you to discuss your artistic ideas as well as discuss options with the artist. For example, you may want a feature abstract piece in blues and turquoise that has a specific emotional connection of a calm ocean and blue sky.

When you choose to commission an artwork, you’ll not only be investing in an authentic, original artwork at a fair and competitive price, you’ll receive a personal signed certificate of authentication, and a signed photograph of the artist herself. These items add more value to your masterpiece.

Painting Commission with Outstanding Customer Service

After you’ve made up your mind to commission an artwork, the next step is to arrange a collaboration meeting with the artist to channel your ideas and bringing them to reality.

Following our first meeting together, an Upfront Agreement is prepared and sent to you for review and agreement. Once you have reviewed, there is always time to seek clarity on things that are not clear. This agreement is designed to ensure that all parties are on the same page before your unique project commences. The elements of the contract artwork are clear, and the price is agreed before commencement. There are no hidden surprises!

Pricing

Artwork commissions and the fee varies depending on the artwork size, and medium. An Upfront Agreement will be prepared following your collaboration meeting with the artist before the work starts. Once both parties have approved the Agreement, a 50% deposit is required in order for the project to start.

Once the artwork is complete, the customer is shown a visual either in person or a live photo. When you are happy with the artwork, the remaining 50% of payment is paid. Once full payment has been received, shipment is arranged. (see Shipping Costs below)

Timeframe

The artist will give you a timeframe estimate for the project. Timelines will vary depending on the scale of the artwork and the time an artist typically takes to make the artwork. Be assured, space and time will always be held for you to ask the artist for more details.

Free Shipping Costs (Australia only)

To keep things as affordable as possible, we have a reputable courier service that specialises in handling and packaging artwork to ensure your masterpiece arrives undamaged and safe (anywhere in Australia). Shipping is free of charge (door-to-door) anywhere in Australia.

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer free shipping for overseas clients. Be assured that the same high level of service and care is our commitment to you when shipping overseas. The best care, management handling and affordable pricing is sourced and provided to you.

Once the artwork is ready for its new home, we’ll source and liaise with you the door-to-door shipping cost. You get to choose whether you wish to proceed with our shipping service or your own* (*at no liability to us for loss/damage). Again, there are no surprises!

How to proceed and the process
  1.     Complete the questionnaire below and let us know what you’re looking for and hope to achieve
  2.     Arrange a free 30-60 minute (in-person or Zoom call) with the artist
  3.     Discuss artwork medium, size, framed/unframed and timeline.
  4.     You may be asked to complete a fun exercise to gain a visual of ideas for the artist.
  5.     An Upfront Agreement is prepared by the artist and sent to the customer
  6.     Both parties agree and sign the Agreement
  7.     Payment of 50% is paid before the project commences
  8.     Once the artwork is finished to client’s satisfaction, the remaining 50% payment is paid in full.
  9.     The artist will then arrange shipping/delivery (door-to-door) of your unique art piece free anywhere in Australia.
